Western 1880s  - "AMMONIA / MNFD BY / S.F. GASLIGHT CO" - Amber Glass Bottle
These sure don't come up often, most are aqua colored. This quart size bottle was hand blown into a two part mold by the "San Francisco & Pacific Glass Works" in an orange amber colored glass, circa 1880s. It has a crudely tooled top and what looks like an inverted "L" embossed on the base. Found half covered in a wicker basket, non dug. Potstone on reverse as pictured with a tight 2" fracture. Nice orange peel texture to the glass.
