Description

Antique Native American Jade ache and red stone ache beaded Iroquois purse 1870. Condition is "Used". Several collectors at a PA Artifacts show said this purse was made by Iroquois around 1870. The jade ache from 600-800AD was found in San Andreas, near lake Atitlan, Guatemala highlands. Sinew and sap was used to attach the ache (small axe) to a handle. The jade ache measures 2.75” x 1.5” and weighs 3oz. The small red axe appears to be older and measures 2.25” x 1.5” and weighs 2oz. The 24 obsidian arrow heads in this case were hand made 5 years ago.
I created this listing for all that is shown and explained, the purse, two aches, 24 arrow heads and glass case. I would be happy to sell any of these individually. Specify in the comments of your offer, what it is that you are interested in.
Thank you and please share if you have any more knowledge about these, especially the red ache.
Carefully shipped or local pick up at one of my antique shops.
